Edna Rose Price, age 86 of Ormond Beach, Florida, formerly of Freeburn, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 28, 2020. Born September 17, 1934 in Relief, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Harrison McCourry and Marie Sparks McCourry. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Otto Price, Jr.; siblings: Arnold “Buddy” McCourry, Harold “Shoddy” McCourry, Doug McCourry, Arbulus “Bootsie” Butler, and Julia Louise Jacobs.
She is survived by her children: Janice St. Gelais, Patricia Page, and Barry Thomas Price, all of Ormond Beach, Florida; one brother, Harrison McCourry, Jr.; three grandchildren: Sumer LeighAnn Stakelin, James “Gus” Nichols, and Autumn Brook Price. Five great grandchildren also survive, along with many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.
Funeral services will be held 2:00pm Saturday, November 7, 2020 in the chapel of the Phelps & Son Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Wilson Cemetery at Tomahawk, Kentucky. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Saturday from 12:00-2:00pm. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Phelps & Son Funeral Home.

Misty Hayden Mowen, age 43 of Louisa, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at her residence. Born January 10, 1977 in Johnson County, Kentucky she is the daughter of Betty Pack Hayden of Paintsville, Kentucky and the late Herbert Ray Hayden. In addition to her father she is preceded in death by one brother, Billy Ray Hayden, and one sister, Jackie Hayden Rayburn.
Misty is survived by her mother, Betty Pack Hayden of Paintsville, Kentucky; her husband, Dan Mowen of Louisa, Kentucky; one son, Taylor Blake Hayden Rucker of Louisa, Kentucky; one daughter, Ethel Ashley Hayden Walls and husband, Ethan of Winchester, Kentucky; one brother, George Hayden and wife, Janette of West Van Lear, Kentucky; two sisters: Brenda Marstella and husband, Terry of Winchester, Kentucky and Debbie Townsend of Mount Sterling, Kentucky; one granddaughter, Claira Blake Walls.
Funeral services will be held 12:00pm Saturday, October 31, 2020 in the chapel of the Phelps & Son Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Hayden Family Cemetery at Meally. Teddy Preston and Mike Spradlin will officiate. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00-9:00pm and prior to funeral services on Saturday. Johnny Douglas Dawson, age 73 of Thelma, Kentucky passed away Friday, October 23, 2020 at the Rockcastle Regional Hospital in Mount Vernon, Kentucky.
Born September 29, 1947 in Floyd County, he was the son of the late Earl Dawson and Josephine (Sparks) Dawson. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Connie (Fraley) Dawson; and several brothers and sisters.
Mr. Dawson is survived by one son, John Wesley Dawson of Van Lear, Kentucky; two daughters, Shonnia Blankenship, and her husband Steve of Thelma, Kentucky and Mellisa L. Dawson of Lewis Center, Ohio. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and his best friend, Rowdy.
Funeral services will be held 12:00pm Monday, October 26, 2020 in the chapel of the Phelps & Son Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Price Cemetery, Thelma. Friends may visit the Phelps & Son Funeral Home from 5:00pm to 8:00pm Sunday and until the time of service on Monday. Arrangements are under the direction of the Phelps & Son Funeral Home.

Roger Dale Martin, age 71 of Sitka, Kentucky passed away Monday October 19, 2020 at his residence. Born October 12, 1949 in Pike County, he was the son of the late Tomas Martin and Mollie (Damron) Martin. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Marlon Martin; and one sister, Judith Martin.
Mr. Martin is survived by one brother, Samuel (Lavonda) Martin of Salyersville, Kentucky; three sisters, Loraine Martin of Pikeville, Kentucky, Lenetta (Bruce) Sawyers also of Pikeville and Debbie (Bobby) McCool of Van Lear, Kentucky; several grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews also survive.
A Memorial Service will be held 1:00pm Saturday, October 24, 2020 at the Red Bush Enterprise Baptist Church. Bob Williams will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of the Phelps & Son Funeral Home.

Clarence R. Thornbury, Jr. age 74 of East Point, Kentucky passed away Thursday, October 15, 2020 at the Albert Chandler Medical Center in Lexington.
Born January 12, 1946 in Fedscreek, Kentucky he was the son of the late Clarence Roland Thornbury and Orene Jones Thornbury. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Billy Lloyd Thornbury; and one sister, Shirley Ann Owens.
Mr. Thornbury is survived by his wife, Brenda Ruth Thornbury of East Point; three children, Melissa Allena Ferguson and her husband Ernie Ferguson of Flat Gap, Kentucky, Matt Thornbury of East Point, Kentucky and Amanda E. Stephens and her husband Justin E. Stephens of Lowmansville, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Julia Jayne Bowen and her husband Nick Bowen of Georgetown, Kentucky, Lauren Haley Randalls of Huntsville, Alabama, Johnsey Michael Jayne of Georgetown, Kentucky, Isabella Grace Stephens of Lowmansville, Kentucky and Wyatt Matthew Stephens also of Lowmansville, Kentucky; and one great grandchild, Loman Nicholas Bowen of Georgetown, Kentucky and a host of nieces and nephews. Also surviving are four brothers and one sister; Raymond Lee Thornbury of Freemont, Ohio, Ben Dale Thornbury of Mouthcard, Kentucky, Roger Thornbury of New Carlisle, Ohio, Nolan Gail Hunt of Little Card, Kentucky and Helen Nickelson of Freemont, Ohio.
Funeral services will be 1:00pm Sunday, October 18, 2020 at the Family Cemetery at 1451 KY Rt. 689 East, Flat Gap, Kentucky 41219. Per the family's request, the service will be held outdoors for those wanting to attend. David Trimble will officiate. Auxier Chapter 18 D.A.V. will conduct full Military Honors at the cemetery. Jackie Craddock, age 79 of Offutt, Kentucky, passed away Friday, October, 9, 2020 at Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center in Paintsville, Kentucky. Born November 22, 1940 in Hawkins County, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Clyde Craddock, Sr. and Mary Bell Stroupe Craddock. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by one brother, Billy Gene Craddock.
Jackie is survived by one son, Jackie Alvin Craddock, Jr.; three daughters: Roberta Lynn Craddock, Rebecca Ann Sandy, and Rhonda Sue Staton; two brothers: Clyde Craddock, Jr., and Donald Edison Craddock; and one sister, Elizabeth Grace Senno.
A memorial service for Mr. Craddock will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of the Phelps & Son Funeral Home.

Gearld Shockley Jr., age 56 of Hawthorne, Florida passed away Monday, October, 5, 2020 at the Baptist Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida. Born July 26, 1964 in Huntington, West Virginia he is the son of Gearld Shockley Sr. of Chesapeake, Ohio and Patsie Sexton Parsons of South Point, Ohio.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Alicia Ann Shockley Palmore and his sister, Dreama Shockley Williamson.
In addition to his parents, Gearld is survived by his loving wife, Lisa Spears Shockley; two sons: Joshua Shockley of Bardin, Florida and Tyler Shockley of Hawthorne, Florida; one brother, Troy Shockley of South Point, Ohio; two grandchildren, Hallie Jo Shockley and Aliya Renee Netz.
Funeral services will be held 11:00am Thursday, October 8, 2020 in the chapel of the Phelps & Son Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Son Butcher Cemetery at Whitehouse, Kentucky. Danny Gregory Profitt, age 56 of Paintsville, Kentucky passed away Monday night at 10:30pm, October 5, 2020 at King's Daughters Medical Center in Ashland.
Born July 31, 1964 in Paintsville, Kentucky, he was the son of Daniel and Patsy (Blair) Profitt of Paintsville, Kentucky. In addition to his parents, Danny is survived by one brother, Tony Jonathan Profitt and his wife, Terri Profitt of Paintsville, Kentucky; one niece, Sydnee Grace Profitt; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Danny was a Christian. He loved the Lord and the Third Street Free Will Baptist Church. Danny enjoyed everyhting in his life. He loved little children. They were the joy of his life. He loved everyone he met.
A graveside service will be held 2:00pm Thursday, October 8, 2020 at the Lakeview Memorial Cemetery, Staffordsville. Friends may visit the First Free Will Baptist Church on Third Street, Paintsville from 5:00pm to 8:00pm Wednesday, October 7th. Larry Blair and Gary Blair will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of the Phelps & Son Funeral Home.

Barbara Sue Butcher, age 55 of Burlington, Wyoming, formerly of Williamsport, Kentucky passed away Sunday, October 4, 2020 in Billings, Montana. Born February 10, 1965 in Johnson County, she was the daughter of the late Virgil Ray Butcher and Barbara Butcher. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brothers, Harrison Butcher and Robert Neil Butcher.
Sue is survived by one brother, Kennith Butcher and Eugena of Manderson, Wyoming; nephew, Marcus (Elizabeth) Butcher of Kermit, West Virginia; nieces, Addison Butcher and Dakota Butcher both of Manderson, Wyoming; sister in law, Brenda Mae Butcher of Kermit, West Virginia; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends also survive.
Funeral services will be 11:00am Monday, October 12, 2020 in the chapel of the Phelps & Son Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Family Cemetery at Williamsport.
